Hey guys, just some questions about the MLV files.

How do you convert them on mac?

Also how does the workflow work?

I mean from converting the mlv to cinema dng, grading etc.

Since you're on the Mac boat...

I'd try this workflow:

MLVFS > AE (apply Cinelog-C) export as ProRes > Edit and color grade in any NLE you like (Prefer FCP X or PP)

If you don't understand how to use @dmilligan's MLVFS app (I'd suggest you to read his thread and dig the most out of it -- totally worth it!).

You can also try @Danne's app cr2hdr-r (which works well for lazy people who don't want to do the dirty work -- look it up!).

The easiest app for you to use out of all would probably be @baldand's MLRawViewer (it's a decent preview/export app but lacks color matrices that you can get from these others two apps I mentioned up above that you would basically need for proper color grade. Test both and see for yourself!

Or try them all and see which suits best for your needs.
