Format, Recycle or Delete ALL quickly in camera leaving ML intact

How can one wipe a card quickly in camera for re-use without affecting the ML Software?
While filming I get the cards back from IT in a quick cycle footage is left on the card as a backup untill the card is re-used.
I doubt that this option is not already available I cant find any reference to it anywhere but if it isnt is there any reason why it cannot be made?
