Pretty much looks like this has been merged here:
https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/commits/0daee2ed4aa5b495bbc279d56904cb72f0fa972e?at=5D3-123
If you do a test and confirm it is working I will update first post.

Good stuff to know - Thanks for sharing @Markus!

KB's 256GB 1066x CF cards sounds just so tempting...

@Markus Nice.. thanks for reporting back  :)  @DeafEyeJedi Are you thinking about moving up to 1.2.3, or you still advise staying with 1.1.3?

Markus

One thing to note though. When filling the card completely you get some black frames in the last 10-20 sek of the recording due to the data not being saved in the same order as it is recorded.

@Markus:

I second that and do notice these black frames when maxed out the cards during recordings. That's when multi-cam shoots come in handy because then you can overlap it with footage from others to make up for the loss (black frames) footage.

That's the fun part, ain't it? [emoji3]

Thanks again for sharing.

@goldenchild9to5:

I'm happy with 113 as always and still do (but not often) use 123 if a shoot is required to have full HDMI out for field monitors, feed, etc.

You can also recreate those missing frames with twixtor if you really have something there in those last seconds you whant to use.

Note though that after recreating the missing frame with twixtor you only replace the black frame. All other frames are "real" frames. So even if there is very complex motion going on that might give you some artifacts that frame will pass by so quickly that you won't notice.
