Converting mlv files for apple tv

Hi after using MLRaw viewer and converting them in Da vinci to Pro Res 4444,they work just fine,however if i convert them again, using a video convertor on Imac to say, MP4 or MPEG4 so i can watch them using Apple tv i get  coloured Horizontal lines on the footage.Ive tried other formats all resulting with lines on the footage.Anyone have anyideas ,as to how i might be able to use the footage on my Apple tv.Thank you.

Ok i found a solution after using Da Vinci Then i used FCPX converted it to Apple pro res 422,Then used a convertor ,converting to mp4 /MPEG4 and it worked fine thanks anyway
