incomplete RAW clips

I'm trying to transcode a RAW clip in RAWMagic and CR2HDR and neither seem to work.

RAWMagic says that
"No Files Added - No files were added to the queue. Make sure all of your files are in the proper format. If you're trying to add a spanned sequence, you must add all the files in the sequence at once".

Unfortunately, I don't have additional files to add (.R00, .R01, etc)

CR2HDR just doesn't do anything. There is no error message given.

The file size is 3.16 gb so something is there. Can I salvage it?

Try using cr2hdr-r or mlrawviewer instead.

Unfortunately neither of those programs worked.

I believe the problem is that the clip didn't add a footer to close out the clip because I ran out of space on the CF card. I've been digging through the forums and while there seems to be a solution, I'm not quite understanding how to do it on a Mac for 7D footage. Most of the posts I'm seeing are from 2013 so is it possible that there's a program that automatically fixes them without me having to go into a Hex editor and manually do it?

I see. Yes I believe hex editor would be needed.
Baldand made a python script for this maybe you tried?
