Canon 70D

Hi, I cannot find the audio settings menu in ML for 70D, can anyone tell me where it is hidden in the menus ?

There is no audio submenu and no audio settings in this version of ML yet. You have  to control audio from the canon menu.

C'est très bien expliqué. Il faut bien suivre la procédure pour rendre tes cartes SD bootable, prendre une photo avant d'installer le firmware etc..

This doesn't apply for Alpha 4b as there is a new installer available with 4b. There is no other supported way of installing ML to 70D.

I have a question about dottune. It seems to work with my camera. After the adjustement procedure do i have to have dottune module active (loaded) or can i disable it ? If i disable the dottune module will the microadjustment still present?

Offtopic but: you can disable the module again once you did all your tests. The module clearly displays recommended values and also writes them to canon menu. Seems like you blindly trusted the module without verifying what it wrote to the canon menu...

Thank You for reply. Indeed, looks like the module didn't write the values in canon menu. It suggested +2, and when i checked W and T were on "0" in canon menu.

Recheck that. It works over here. Be sure to read through the dottune thread and register your lens properly...

I did it again and it worked. The adjustement stayed in canon menu even after disabling dottune menu. That was with 18-135 lense. Works like charm. Sadly, with 35 f2.0 canon IS lense the procedure doesn't end. LCD screen goes black and nothing happens. After few minutes camera goes standby. Both are registered. With prime lens i'v chcecked box in menu only to adjust "W".

Been following this thread since day one. And new user here! I just wanted to thank nikifreak and everyone else who's helping for working so hard. For users constantly asking if it'll work for their camera, please read the first post. For users constantly asking when it will work for all 70D models, please read the first post. Personally, I am happy to wait however long I need to. I'd much rather use a finely tuned camera than one with buggy software. Needless to say I'm still anxiously waiting! Keep up the great work everyone. I'm showing this thread to all my 70D friends and telling them to donate.

I installed magic lantern in my 70D serial number 154045007708. the problem is when ever i go into magic lantern setting page after around 5-8 sec it pulls me out of magic lantern setting page back to camera default page.

also in one of the installation videos referred : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1YOAPxWe0I at time code 0:35 of the video it shows autoexe.bin (file size = 406912) and ML70D111.FIR (filesize 235676) where as the downloaded version file size is 448KB and 29KB respectively.

Is there any file that is not mentioned or is it suppose to be that much of size ?

Make sure you haven't reassigned buttons in Canon menu. Turn off cam. Press SET and keep it pressed. Power on. Wait some seconds and release SET.

Except for Canon giving us a "unified" firmware update so that we "all" can have ML on our 70D's... I just thought I'd throw that out there for the Canon engineers who (we all know) read these ML forums.  Please guys?
