Greetings,

I have a feature request assuming its possible and folks were willing:  I have a Canon 60D that has been surgically altered for infrared photography.  Those familiar with the process know that the system for automatic sensor cleaning hardware gets removed so it no longer operates.  Should the camera attempt to sensor clean itself, it rightly so gets very unhappy, throws an error messages on the screen, and requires the camera to be power cycled to clear it.  The auto-clean on power off function is generally disabled to prevent this hassle from popping up on altered cameras like this.

However, it would be nice to operate the Delete Dust Data function.  Unfortunately when I select Delete Dust Data, the first thing it attempts is a sensor cleaning and prevents the operation from proceeding in creating a dust map because of the above error condition.  Could this sensor cleaning be by-passed during for procedure.  It would be really helpful to the infrared photographers.

Thanks for reading.  Have a great day and thank you for Magic Lantern.
