Mario de Aratanha

Hi, I am setting up a studio to record (and cut) live classes in a federal university here in Brazil. I have a Blackmagic ATEM 1 Production switcher, and 3 Canon DSLRs (2 5D2 and a 70D). I'm researching the possibility of using them together. Magic Lantern has already helped me to clear all overlays in 5D2's LiveView display, and through the hdmi output of the camera I am sending a 3:2 image signal going to the switcher for my live cut.

But (and here is one of the buts...) I need a 16:9 image instead of a 3:2. And I cannot crop afterwards via FCP or similar program. Can anybody (including Magic Lantern Staff) help me with this issue?

And the second "but" is how to keep the LiveView on for more than 30 minutes?

Thanks

Mario
