How is everyone doing exports to tiff's?  The program keeps hanging.

iunknown

This is exporting 16 bit tiff's.  Maybe I should be exporting jpeg's?

Let me guess, you're on a mac  8)

Took a while to find out myself, but this works:

Go to the Queue tab and set the output directory and file format. Make sure the "auto start" box is set to on (it's below the start and stop processing buttons).

Then go to the editor tab to the directory where you're dng's are.
Select them all (Ctrl-A)
And put them all to the Queue (Ctrl-B) or (Ctrl-Q on the older versions of Raw Therapee)

If you're doing things right you'll see the number of dng's appearing on the Queue tab (whatever you do, don't click on the Queue tab, stay in the editor window!!!)
If things are even more ok, you can see the number of dng's count down on the Queue tab, so you'll know it works, BUT again, don't click on the Queue tab, stay in the editor window!!!
If you're clicking on the Queue tab, you'll see it crashes...which you already find out yourself  :D.

Wow, thanks so much for that Levas.  I would have never figured that out.  So far its working.

some more notes, the 32 bit version of rawtherapee can handle a folder with about 3,200 dng's.  Otherwise it hangs on opening.  The 64 bit is less, but still experimenting.

And this is a system with a ssd drive, i7-3770k and 16 gb of ram.
