I created some curl "repo_ripper" downloading all forks from a bitbucket user based upon knowing the name of the main repository but the script mentioned seems taking care of it all.
Again, relieved that back up download is being done and checking into the possibility of keeping mercurial alive.
Wish my vacation would start already...

...Having copies of all the data before it's deleted, is essential in my opinion. Deciding what to merge, what needs further cleanup, running tests and so on, can be done afterwards, without time pressure.

I think you need to uninstall command line tools and reinstall it.

I just manually deleted the CommandLine Folder and then installed a fresh new one through your Compiler.app 

Well. Good luck for now. If you summarize your errors and try to solve them one by one it should work. Also compare the compiling string for "c" option which seems to work.

Okay I'll do that. We def know that 'c' option works just fine but it isn't cooperating when selecting 'op' for the faster exports.

Thanks @Danne I've been trying to. Just did a software update (10.15.5) where it also updated the command line tools.

I actually came across that site re: ssl error and I even tried to use my hotspot just to see if it'll help to no avail.

I noticed that. It finally connected to git. That's indeed some progress. Still can't figure out how I'm still using Clang as oppose to Apple's version or whether it has to do w OS X headers.

Ran MLV_App_Compiler gives me those errors as it seems to be a problem with not having SDK Headers for MacOS 10.* per @Danne's suggestion from earlier :

If all else fails and I would rather downgrade this MBP to MoJave than putting you guys on this situation although some of you have environmental builds running on Catalina w no issues.

I guess I should also look into disabling the SIP trick as we used to do this with older Mac OS X and not sure if this still applies. 

Excellent follow up @dfort. I know we are each have our own projects lined up and whatnot. But please keep lurking on your rear end window occasionally from time to time.

I don't mind making the effort to have you groom me up with your talents. I even sold one of mine 5D3's in favor of keeping the EOSM's and 100D respectively. 

Note that next month Bitbucket will no longer support Mercurial repositories. Both the main Magic Lantern repository as well as my ML Focus Pixels repository are Mercurial so they need to be converted or moved to another hosting site in order to continue this project. I would appreciate it if someone takes over the focus pixel repository because I have moved on to other projects and don't have much reason to continue maintaining it.

+1 - as I am definitely interested in partaking this role in any way shape or form. I'm very eager in wanting to keep ML alive well beyond Bitbucket years.

Fixed. Had restrictions enabled. I thought about posting this on the MLV_App Thread but there's already so much going on that and didn't want to derail them.

Hi everyone. Been awhile since I've been in this situation. Sold my 2012 MBP and just scooped up a decent 2015 MBP.

Beginning with this vanilla Catalina build I decided to run @Danne's Compiler.app script just to be sure I have all the bells and whistles working.

Then I tried to follow @dfort's suggestion on how to get this MLV_App_Compiler to work on 10.15.5 to no avail. Still getting the same 20 Fatal errors messages.

Suspect it has something to do with Clang and instead I should be using Apple's compiler so I followed the instructions in reply #208 to no avail.

What gives? 

These modes needs testing so any help would be appreciated. There´s still a chance for frame corruption if you enable set_25fps. This will give you 48fps in 2.39:1 and 2.35:1 ratios. Otherwise 46fps.

This one just caught the corner of my eye. I've been hiding in the shadows as of late meanwhile watching Danne's bitbucket page which keeps on growing and yet still get updates periodically. 

That tells me that this community is still thriving (maybe not to the best of our ability) regardless of the unprecedented times we're all in. I'll definitely give this one a test run re: high FPS.

The past several weeks have been rather interesting and yet terrifying as shitballs in Los Angeles. Still working on site (for a local news network) meanwhile working remotely every other week from home. Stay safe!
