Hi everyone, a while back I posted the trailer for my film Consumed, a film shot entirely on a 5d Mark III with Magic Lantern raw. When I made this project I would never have anticipated the reaction, and since then the film has screened at festivals across the world, culminating in a BAFTA nomination for best short film in 2017 - the only doc in the category.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people at Magic Lantern, the quality of footage was crucial to capturing the essence of these places I traveled to. For a film-maker like me with no budget to speak of, it shows that with the right tools (not the most expensive!), the sky is the limit.

I hope you enjoy the film and share it on social media etc., it's a slow burner so grad a coffee and relax! :)

Hi, I wanted to share with you the short documentary that I made with a 5dIII and Magic Lantern Raw. It's been quite an amazing journey since then, playing the film at film festivals and recently finding out that the film has been nominated for a BAFTA. MLRaw really helped lift the production value of the film immensely, and allowed me to work with a camera which had a very small form factor that was familiar to most people, probably relaxing them to my presence compared to a full setup. I am only able to share the trailer publically, but For those of you in the UK, you can stream the full film along with the other 7 short film nominees on Curzon Home Cinema, link below:

Hi there, I just wanted to share with the Magic Lantern community a trailer to a short documentary that I've been working on, a cinematic exploration of the manufacturing industries in China. The phenomenal work of the Magic Lantern team has really elevated the quality of this project to a huge degree.

I'm shooting on a 5d Mark III
2x Komputerbay 128gb 1050x
2x Komputerbay 64gb 1000x

This is a continuing project, If you'd like to see what I hope to be the one of the first documentaries shot fully with Magic Lantern, and a beautiful story about ho our stuff gets to us, I have a Kickstarter that is currently raising funding for the second phase of the project next month. So be sure to get your name in the credits!
