Since the introduction of lossless raw recording things got better.

Canon 6D highest resolution for 16:9 aspect ratio is 1824 x 1026.

24 fps in 1824 x 1026 resolution:
In 14 bit lossless raw gives about 30 seconds recording time till buffer is full.
In 12 bit lossless raw gives about 100 seconds recording time till buffer is full.

30 fps in 1824 x 1026 resolution:
In 14 bit lossless raw gives about 10 seconds recording time till buffer is full.
In 12 bit lossless raw gives about 20 seconds recording time till buffer is full.

If you really want continuous recording times, you could lower resolution a little.
For 24 fps, 1728 x 972 resolution in 12 bit lossless should give about unlimited recording time (till battery is empty or card is full  :P )
For unlimited recording time in 30 fps you need to lower resolution to 1600 x 900 and record in 12 bit lossless.

Another option instead is go wider then 16:9 aspect ratio.
For example 1:2.39 (which is very common aspect ratio for movies)
1824 x 764 x 24 fps x 14 bit lossless raw recording gives continuous recording time.
1824 x 764 x 30 fps x 12 bit lossless raw recording gives continuous recording time.

That said, if you really like to live on the edge, go buy a Sandisk extreme pro card and make use of the very experimental SD-UHS hack module, which makes it possible to get higher writing speeds, instead of about 40MB/s you can get 60+MB/s writing speed out of your Canon.
This makes it possible to get continuous recording in 1824 x 1026 x 14 bit lossless x 30 fps.

Thanks so Much

Sorry for my opinions but if everyone really need RAW video just get a blackmagic pocket or micro they are both 1080p 23.98, 24, 30 fps and micro has 59 and 60 fps.

@ShootMeAlready
Thanks, but for low- or nobudget indiefilmers it would have been a nice option. Reprocessing would of course bring several problems with it plus the coding itself ...
Maybe another option would be a Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera or Pocket Camera...

I used with Auto, landscape and Tecnhicolor style and yes they look different if you try to do Cinemastyle you can use Tecnhicolor S-cuver or MARVE's style and you will have more DR and all the color corrections will be more easy

Quick question. When you  shot in raw, Do you have audio? If the answer  is  yes Can I do 1 of 2 things
1- Disabled the audio because I gonna use the camara for music video  or I not gonna use the camara audio enough
2- for audio synchronization: Can I use a really low quality  audio because I  have a  external record  and pro mic for my production.

Hi guy Just to see if I understand. If my cam is not compatible, I'll get a black screen or blank whatever... in this  case i have to use Eoscard utility and my cam will work again normally  or will be compatible  with Alpha ML?

@nikfreak I have a stupid question sorry for that... but is possible get more MPx from 70D something like 40MPx because Canon say is like the sensor is divided in 2 and have 20MPx so maybe with magic lantern we can have a possibility to get more MPx and loose the new system AF  and use manual focus or something like that? I know is something stupid that I ask but sorry I'm new in this and I only want to know

Neither... it's the SD slot.  It's a gimped UHS-I bus with a max rate of 41MB/s.  You can use the fastest SD card on the planet and it will still be 41MB/s.

We talked earlier about attaching a USB card reader to the camera's USB port... if ML ever made that possible, I'd skip the card reader and just plug in a USB flash drive.  I've got a 64GB USB 3.0 stick that writes at 175MB/s, it would be amazing if I could just write date to that thing!  Only problem is there is currently no Canon DSLR that offers USB 3.0 that doesn't also offer a CF slot...

the canon 70D has USB 2.0 and the top speed that u can get is 40MB/s never more than 60MB/s so we still in the same thing

Hey ShootMeAlready, sorry man but you are wrong
1 The CPU is not the 6, is the 5+
2 AF point is 19 .

I have a question the problem with the writing speed is for the camera or memory? if the answer is memory, we can get a memory with 95/MBs to 280/MBs and the problem gonna be solved...
