Alright, I finally made this things work.
@masc
My frustration still comes by the fact that is next to impossible to find what you are looking for in here. The link you provided to me is excellent. I downloaded 2 different versions of MLV App that do literally nothing. This is because the post where such apps are uploaded are not updated with the latest information, leaving you to search endlessly thought time and space.
The other part, is the fact that I don't have the nicest and latest toys. I can't run Resolve, if I have to say that a couple more times I'd have to make it my catchphrase. 2010 iMac can't run it, it's even still installed on my hard drive at the moment because I wanned to give it another try.

Thanks for the link. It helps a lot to know where the eggs are coming.
Next, is a summary of my journey in case you are curious..
1. I need to find a converter because I want to shot a short using 10bit raw + sound.
2. No a single app works, (just MLVMystic which is unusable due to the vertical stripes of the 5DM3 )
3. I upgraded from 10.6 to 11.11 This broke all my editing softwares (CS5).
4. Fixed the editing softwares by (I don't remember, I downloaded a bunch of crap from people with the same problem).
5. The MLV converters are readable files now, but I can't install them because my computer thinks that is not safe porn.
6. I learned how to disable the security bs, but it did not worked. I learned a different way, it works.
7. I installed and use the recommended MLV converters. they are good (now I know), but none of my editing softwares can read the files, which means that I didn't know at that time if they work or not because I have never used them.
8. I discovered compatibilities issues, and downloaded the latest raw reader whatever version, it did not work. The files coming from the converters were still unreadable.
9. I ate a sandwich
10. I discovered that I need to enable my editing softwares to understand what a cDNG is. I also discovered that ADOBE discontinued the links and it was a mess.
11. I discovered that it doesn't matter if you dowloaded the latest Raw reader because the adobe software is too old to understand what's going on.
12. I panic
13. I found what was the latest version of raw reader whatever my CS5 poor man editing software can support, and tracked a shady link down. It says that my CS5 don't support the 5DM3 because is old, still I downloaded the file and crossed my fingers.
14. Now I can read cDNG and DNG coming from the MLV converters.
00. I wasn't recording sound simply because turning the MLVSound on doesn't record sound any more. I learned that you have to enable sound for the second time on the sound options.
Interestingly, every time I import a frame (2.67 aspect ratio) to After effects, it thinks that it is 16:9. So I have to treat my footage like anamorphic footage and squeeze the frame back to 2.67.
Thanks for all your help. Now I have to deal with the difficult part which is making a movie, first day of shooting Saturday November 25.
