Title: ML for the C300
Post by: jeremypevar on November 29, 2012, 02:39:07 AM
Not sure if this is the proper forum for this, but...

Does anyone out there know if it would be theoretically possible to port ML to the C300?  And if so, is anyone working on it?

It may be possible, but is unlikely to happen. The $15k price tag is prohibitive and pushes it out of the consumer/prosumer family in which ML is focused.

But then again, ... if someone would donate a couple-a bodies for... uh... testing...

We alredy got too many bodies on our hands...I don't think we can handle more new ports for a while unless new developers step in.

We are currently working on:

- 40D
- 7D
- EOS M
- 650D
- 5D Mk III
- The upcoming 6D

C300 is not DSLR inside, so one has to start from scratch. Also, I highly recommend to hire a very skilled team of lawyers before even trying.

I would love to see C300 Raw... bet those two CF slots can get a lot of write speed.
