Title: HD Livestreaming through mini hdmi output on 60D T3i
Post by: Brian6D on August 18, 2012, 08:01:20 PM
I am using a multistreamer with an HDMI input and I'm wondering if ML allows for HD out through the Mini HDMI output on the 60D/T3i.
Any help would be appriciated.

This is probably the wrong forum to ask that question, but yes. The T3i gives you 1620x1080 (3:2 aspect) 30fps live video. The image has black bars on the left and right that you will need to crop out. However, since the video mode used is 1080i, the progressive frames often end up shifted one field, making it impossible to use the video feed as a straight up 30p source without some sort of deinterlacing or field shift removal.
