Title: Can't Get Magic Lantern To Work on EOS M
Post by: mahadragon on January 14, 2017, 10:54:49 AM
Hello, I tried to do a Search for Canon EOS M, but unfortunately I got a message saying that search terms must have at least 2 letters, kind of hard to search for "M" with only 1 letter.

Have some questions, the instructions say to place all files into the root directory. I see the "ML" folder and inside of that folder there is a boatload of other folders and files. Am I supposed to move every single file out of the folders and put everything into the root folder?

I managed to update my EOS M firmware to the right one 2.0.2 and I installed Magic Lantern. It said it installed correctly and to restart the camera. So I turn it off, then turn it back on again. I press "Delete" button and nothing happens. I have re-installed Magic Lantern at least 4 times now. What am I doing wrong?

Did you tap the screen with two fingers simultaneously so you see the ML splash screen?  Then after that, press the menu key?
