ML works with 1.1.4 but not 1.1.5. This is a rather minor update:

QuoteCorrects a phenomenon in which when using the camera with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM or EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens, even if lens aberration correction is set to "Enable", correction will not be applied.

However to get ML working on a new firmware is a lot of work so unless there's a high demand for 1.1.5 and a developer willing to work on it -- it will probably not be updated any time soon.

I was thinking about attempting it but why exactly do you need 1.1.5 if you have 1.1.4 working? Do you have either of the two lenses that are affected by this update? Isn't lens aberration correction only valid when shooting JPEG or if you're shooting CR2 only if you're using Canon's Digital Picture Professional software?

Canon official statement:
QuoteQ: Please tell me about the changes made in Firmware Version 1.1.5?
A: The following fixes have been included:
Corrects a phenomenon in which when using the camera with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM or EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens, even if lens aberration correction is set to "Enable", correction will not be applied.

You tell us. Based on user feedback, we decide whether to include it in the nightly builds or wait.

Hi,

Just a "basic" question: I have the latest nightly build on my 700d with firmware 1.1.4. What is the correct way to upgrade the camera to 1.1.5 Canon firmware and install ML for this firmware ? Do I need to uninstall ML first ?

Thanks for any help ;-)
